...and I promise that, unlike other posts of mine, this is not meant to be snarky.

We -- meaning those of us on the right -- have known about the NY nursing home disaster and associated cover-up since about June of last year, if not even earlier. (And NY isn't the only blue state where this happened.) Is this stuff news to you guys on the other side, or have you also known about it since last summer?

I know you can't speak for the entire left, but I'm genuinely curious about potential differences in information flow around political topics like this, as it seems like a constant source of misunderstanding/disagreement on this board and elsewhere.

It's just stunning to me to see CNN run stories like the one you linked as if it's new information. Especially after CNN partnered the two Fredos together on its programming multiple times last year in an effort to puff up the NY Fredo as some sort of COVID mastermind. We on the right couldn't believe our eyes at the beautification of NY Fredo, given what we knew about this scandal at the time.
